About Me
Hi! I am a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Iowa, advised by Dr. Bijaya Adhikari. I work on AI for Health and general machine learning.
Previously, I earned my bachelor's degree in Computer Science from DePauw University in Indiana, where I was advised by Dr. Brian Howard and Dr. Dee Wu on deep learning for clinical systems and generative models. I have also worked as an undergraduate research research assistant under Dr. Gloria Townsend.
My research interests broadly span artificial intelligence for healthcare, applied machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing. I am especially interested in building large-scale deep learning pipelines that improve clinical systems and assist in clinical decision support.
Update: My paper, A Machine-Learned Comorbidity Index, was accepted as a regular conference paper at ICML 2026 and will be presented as a virtual poster.
